28 Gauge Solid Core Steel

Both our metal shake and metal slate shingles are made from 28 gauge G-90 galvanized steel. This heavy gauge profile is recommended over similar style *30 gauge shakes for their added strength and rigidity. *30 guage shake panels available upon request.

Unique Fastening System

Our metal shakes have a unique 4-way interlocking design and flexible clip fastening sytstem so there are no exposed screws or nails creating a clean weather tight installation that locks out the harshest weather conditions. This design system is capable of withstanding hurricane force winds tested up to 160 mph (256 km/hr),has the best hail rating available and qualifies for lower insurance rates through some providers.
